Last updated 8 October 2026.

Memospace is a workspace for boards, tasks, documents and files, with an assistant that can read what you save. This page explains what we store, who else processes it, and how to get it back or delete it. It describes what the product actually does today.

What we store

Your account. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the name and profile picture on that Google account. We never see your Google password.

What you put in. Boards, cards, tasks, documents, memory entries and any files you upload, along with their titles, dates, tags and positions on the canvas.

How you use the assistant. A record of AI actions you spend credits on, so plans and limits can be counted.

If you connect a calendar. The address of the calendar feed you paste in. Events from it are fetched when you view a calendar and are not copied into our database.

If you share a read-only link

A board or a document can be shared with a link. Anyone who has that link can read it without signing in, so treat it the way you would treat a file you emailed: it is not public, but it is not secret either.

A link shows only the thing you shared and only what you put there. Work added by someone you have invited to collaborate is not included, files on a shared board are served one at a time through Memospace rather than by handing out a link to the file itself, and a card pointing at a document does not expose that document.

Turning a link off takes effect immediately, including for images already on the page. Links are not indexed by search engines, and the address carries a random identifier, so a link cannot be guessed or reached by browsing.

Who else processes it

Memospace runs on other companies' infrastructure. Each one sees only what it needs:

  • Supabase — stores the database, your files and your sign-in session.
  • Cloudflare — serves the application.
  • DeepSeek — runs the assistant. See below.
  • Stripe — takes payment. Card details go to Stripe directly and are never stored by us.
  • Unsplash and GIPHY — searched when you look for an image or a GIF. They receive your search words, not your boards.
  • Postmark — receives mail you forward to your Memospace address, if you use that feature.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, or subscribe to your Memospace calendar from a Google account.

The assistant, specifically

When you ask the assistant something, the content it needs to answer — the text of the relevant cards, tasks or documents, and your question — is sent to DeepSeek, which operates from China, to produce the reply. This happens only when you use an AI feature. If you never use the assistant, your content is never sent there.

We do not use your content to train any model of our own. We cannot make promises on behalf of DeepSeek about their own handling of API data; if that matters for your work, treat the assistant as you would any external service and keep sensitive material out of it.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not show advertising, and we do not share your content with advertisers.
  • We do not read your boards except as needed to run the service or to fix a fault you report.
  • Your boards are private by default. Nothing is public unless you share a link.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your content while your account exists. Deleting a board, task or document removes it from your workspace; backups of the database may hold a copy for a short period before they rotate out.

You can ask for your account and its content to be deleted by emailing glenkutsovsky@gmail.com. We will confirm when it is done. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold.

Where it is processed

Our providers operate internationally, so your content may be processed outside the country you live in — including, for assistant requests, in China.

Children

Memospace is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
